Only You Can Let It In

Today's song message from my angels is "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield. I woke up with it in my head. As an entrepreneur with three businesses, I often don't know how best to start my day. Which of my many passions needs attention now? Without the structure of a 9 to 5 job, I am grateful that my days are shaped by me – my judgements, expectations and God's hand alone. That's it! Can be scary. So I focus on what brings me the most joy as I've learned to follow the inspiration. And that's only something I can hear / feel. Only you can let the joy and inspiration of life in your heart. No one can do it for you.

That's why this song rings true for me. Reminds me that we create our own world with our thoughts, joys and fears. So release the fear (worry is like praying for those unwanted things to happen) and let in the JOY!! And go create your fabulous world with the angels cheering you on. Your task: ENJOY TODAY. Break the mold. Do something daring and uniquely YOU!!

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

We Are All One Body

I attended the CHRP (Christ Renews His Parish) retreat in early January, after feeling a call to attend from my angels. It was a very moving and emotional weekend. I decided to continue with the next phase called formation. We met last night and our spiritual leaders for the year, whose roles were discerned from the Holy Spirit last Sunday night, joined us. Thank you Meaghan, Angela and Lisa!

The scripture passage they chose for us to reflect upon last night was Romans 12. One strong theme within this chapter is that while we may be many parts, we are all one body. This theme unexpectedly, yet powerfully, corresponded to the team prayer in our formation book planned for the night. We were all surprised to see how the spirit works and the message was clear. Then this morning, I awoke with another song message. It was the hymn "We Are All One Body" by Marty Haugen, GIA publications.

We are many parts, we are all one body.
And the gifts we have we are given to share.
May the spirit of Love make us one indeed.
One, the love that we share,
One, our hope in despair,
One, the cross that we bear.

Wonderful theme as our Team 21 begins our year of sharing together. Also, the Soshi 2014 Olympic Games are in progress and people from around the world are watching as nations come together to compete honorably. Let us all envision a peaceful world were all peoples on this earth recognize that we are all one body!
