Light Healing Meditation

I often get "downloads" or inspirations from my angels. One Saturday morning last fall, I woke up and received what I now consider a powerful light healing meditation from the archangels or a choir above the archangels. Let me take you through what I envisioned, then you can mentally envision the same light patterns streaming through your body in your own meditation.

Here's what happened:
That morning, my mind was quiet, happy and blank. As I had just woken up, I was lying down on my back. All of a sudden I started getting mental images of large squares of white light, about six feet by six feet, thin like a dryer sheet, going through my body starting at my feet and moving up quickly to my head, engulfing 3 feet of space all around me. They swashed though me one by one and then started coming faster and faster until it was just one strong light at my feet shining through me like a big strobe light. The thought came to me: "purification." Then I started seeing, in my minds-eye not thru my eyes, dark inky-blue purple light coming up my body, starting with my toes and slowing moving up my body. The thought / word came to me: "fortification." I understood that all the cells in my body were being fortified. This took several minutes - was slow like a software download on the computer. Finally, I saw a burst or flash of vibrant red light shoot up my spine to my neck. The word/thought came: "repair/reparation." I've had disc surgery in my neck and I have referred pain occasionally from this. Thus, the red repair light appeared where it was optimum for ME. I imagine the red light for you will appear in your body where you most need it.

So purifying, fortifying and repairing of cells must be the optimum way to heal. Works for me!!!!

I was inspired to paint this "Healing Light" piece so everyone could do this light healing meditation. The large white area above represents the purifying white light. I put a Roman numeral I at the bottom right to indicate it is the first passage of light. The purple is actually next, so I put a II symbol in the bottom right. There is a tiny III in the red area. So now you can do your own "light healing" meditation. Maybe I'll have some posters or giclee prints made. I am sure this meditation was meant for all!! 

Let me know if you are able to do this mediation for yourself, or if you would prefer I create an mp3 audio download so you can hear another person's voice walking you through the meditation.

This painting is available. It uses techniques I am embracing - multiple layers, varying thicknesses, bold brush strokes and a variety of palette knife styles of application. It is now on exhibit in the main 6th street lobby of the Scarbrough Building in Austin thru mid April. After that, any interested buyer can take it home. :-)  Happy healing!!! Ash Wednesday Prayer from my Angel

I am blessed to communicate openly with my guardian angel, Allison. In my morning meditation, I asked her about Ash Wednesday and if she would offer me her thoughts on this day. She said yes, offered a few thoughts, then a wonderful prayer. I will share both. Scroll down for the prayer.

Allison: We are happy to assist you in this matter as we know your mind is often full of these thoughts of ascertaining the absolute truth. We so love being able to assist you in these matters.
Well, for now my dear one, remember that prayer is always good as it puts you in touch with your Lord God and creator. So nothing wrong with that!!! As for all the beliefs and tenets surrounding Ash Wednesday, we could write a book about which aspects are complete truth and which point you to truth. Today I would have you focus on the best of Ash Wednesday which is to have the penitent focus their attention and mindfulness all day long on the Lord their God and Creator of All That Is, also the Creator of Heaven and Earth. This is a blessed opportunity to have more of yourself in touch with creation. Not just a part, but all of you. Focusing your mind, heart and soul on the Lord can only bring good things to you and your blessed world. So I would be happy to take you through a set of prayers for this day if you would like.
Debbi: OF COURSE!!!! PLEASE do direct me. I would so appreciate this opportunity to learn from the heavenly angels.
Allison: Very sweet my child. So the best way might be for me to say a few words and then have you repeat them or even type them and then we will continue with the next line, OK?

Here is the Ash Wednesday prayer from my Guardian Angel Allison:

Allison: In this holy day of the Lord, blessed are those who call upon Him.
Blessed are those who set their mind, heart and soul upon His countenance.
Blessed are those who trust in his faithfulness and unending love.
Blessed are those who mind His ways and walk His sacred paths.
Blessed are those who adore His loving nature and seek to pass on His unending love.
Blessed are those who strive to be like The Lord their God and consider His way the true way.
Blessed are those who seek perfection in all things.* 
Blessed are those who seek the greater good of all.
Blessed are those who adore the Lord with all their hearts.
Blessed are those who seek no retribution but seek rather to sink their hearts and minds into the will of the Lord and trust in his true countenance. It is there for each and every one of you.
Blessed are those who are not afraid to seek within rather than without for the truths of the Lord.
Blessed are those who understand that the Lord their God lives within their hearts and minds and is very active here when given full attention and awareness.
Blessed are those who seek the will of the Lord.
Blessed are those who seek to find the love of the Lord in all situations, places, persons and life opportunities.
Blessed are those who seek to find more holiness within themselves than outside themselves.
Blessed are those who seek the Love of the Lord in all moments of their earthly lives.
In these thoughts and prayers I beseech you to focus your hearts and minds on the love and holy presence of the Lord your God.
May God be with you this holy day.
In Christ's name, Amen.

*   (This is not about "being" perfect as much as understanding that in the will of the Lord, all things are naturally perfect.)

White Light from the Heavens

Remember the Carly Simon song: "Haven't Got Time for the Pain." I woke up to it this morning after doing my Light Healing Meditation the angels sent me last fall.

"I haven't got time for the pain, I haven't got room for the pain, 
I haven't the need for the pain, Not since I've met you.... 

"You showed me how how, how to fill my heart with love, How to open up ...
...and drink in all that WHITE LIGHT POURING DOWN FROM THE HEAVENS."

I would revise her refrain to:

I haven't got time for the pain,
Now I see the good in all things,
Oh I love this vast life of mine,
All since I've known you.

This song is a preview for revealing to you the light healing meditation my angels sent me last fall. I am just NOW realizing the lyrics "I haven't got time for the pain" are PERFECT for healing your physical ailments. Duh. I was focusing on "white light from the heavens." Both are totally synergistic with the meditation. To come next post!!! Until then, don't forget to drink in all that white light pouring down from the heavens! It's upon us.

Adoro Te Devote (gregorian chant)

My angels put a song in my head as I awake each day. Sometimes I hear it through the night. It's a sweet message, setting the tone for my day and often foretells events or circumstances. Today I woke up to a Latin gregorian chant that sounded familiar. As I don't know Latin, I could only distinguish the melody and a few phrases.

I believe it was this one, Adoro Te Devote by Thomas Aquinas.

Poetic English lyrics are:

Prostrate I adore Thee, Deity unseen,

Who Thy glory hidest 'neath these shadows mean;

Lo, to Thee surrendered, my whole heart is bowed,

Tranced as it beholds Thee, shrined within the cloud.

Taste, and touch, and vision, to discern Thee fail;

Faith, that comes by hearing, pierces through the veil.

I believe whate'er the Son of God hath told;

I Believe in Angels

My angels have been working BIG TIME with me this year and it's just Jan. 11. I've had major insights almost everyday. Yesterday I experienced my angels at work, in a way that culminated in me sending you this video with the music and lyrics (subtitled in Spanish) of Abba's song "I Have a Dream." You may know it by the lyrics "I believe in angels."

The story: Yesterday I had lunch with my dear friend Amy - what a sweet angel in my world. We chatted about life and our art inspirations and dreams. We each had so many insights and successes to tell. They kept spewing out and we could barely keep up with what we wanted to share next. Lots of tingling in my body as each story/success offered huge life insights. (Material for future posts!!!!)

On my way home, I couldn't figure out why I was being slowed down.....by traffic jams, detours, etc. I knew it was meant to be so I just relaxed into it and found a scenic drive home. I suddenly remembered I could use a can of tomatoes to make tortilla soup. So I turned the corner and went to a store I don't typically shop to buy one can of tomatoes. Again, I got in an exceptionally SLOW line. I was in no particular hurry but am not a fan of waiting. I decided to just relax again. 

Then in line, I started hearing this song...."I believe in angels, something good in everything I see." The song ended just as my transaction ended and I left singing it, and heard it all through the night. That interaction couldn't have happened if I had followed any other path or inclination, including fighting traffic or fighting "what is." 

When I got home, I had an unexpected, unsolicited call offering me all I had been asking for over the last 2.5 months. Ahhhhhhhhh. Thank you God and your sweet angels!!!!!!!!!! Answered prayer with no action on my part. Who knew?

My angels were talking to me clearly yet subtly and sweetly yesterday, conveying the message: 
Simply follow the road ahead, don't get in a hurry and let the universe BRING you exactly what you need instead of chasing after what you think you need.

Archangel Uriel

The number and names of the archangels varies among religious traditions, but four particular archangels are recognized by most all religious traditions: Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel.

Uriel's name means "Light of God." It is said that archangel Uriel illuminates our minds with inspiration, ideas and insights and is known as the patron of music. He is also considered by many as the intellectual archangel, the one to call upon for wisdom, knowledge and understanding - he can even help you focus when multitasking. I had an artistic challenge and Uriel came through in a big way.

I recently asked my angels for color inspiration for this portal series of abstracts I'm working on. That night, I received two vivid color combinations in my dreams - two in one night! The second color combo was this one: bright yellow surrounded by white surrounded by gray with a hint of purple.

I later found out archangel Uriel, whose name again means "Light of God," is associated with pale yellow candlelight. Since he is known to illuminate us with inspiration, ideas and insights, there is no denying who brought me the specific inspiration for this little painting. I plan to enlarge it to 30x24" soon. Now the lines between my art blog and angel blogs are blurring!! Love it!!

Live from your heart.

My angels have been showing me that it's vital to live from your heart rather than your head/mind/ego. Today, most people live from their rational minds. Many of us are now learning that you can stay in divine love and create your ideal world by living from your heart. 

The law of attraction brings you what your mind and heart focus on automatically. I've heard that creating from your mind brings both what you want and the opposite of what you want (due to the forceful, resistant nature of creating from the mind). Co-creating your world with God by living from your HEART brings ONLY what you really desire, and FAST. And you are living in the heart of God when you do this. Cool!!

Another song message has been filling my head all week. It's about believing in dreams and living in love and from your heart. What it is?? Ha - "The Candyman" song from the old Willy Wonka movie. It was also sung by Sammy Davis Jr.

Who can take a sunrise, sprinkle it in dew
Cover it in chocolate and a miracle or two?

My husband has been playing this on his ukulele and I sing along. So fun to do silly things and just enjoy the moment. It brings more joy to you and the world.
